JO BLUNDELL

Director

Jo has spent over 30 years working around public service delivery and development as a public servant, consultant and business leader.  

 

Her interest is in service innovation and design around public services, creating better social impact and a better quality of experience and engagement with service users.  She has expertise in public service commissioning, service design and business development in key sectors: health, welfare to work, local government, support services and adult social care. 

Jo graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA) with a Masters in Service Design in 2015, where her final project 'Be:long' (creating intentional communities for older people to age well) was shortlisted for the Helen Hamlyn Design Award 2015.

In 2017, Jo was Deputy Director of the Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab), supporting its strategic development and overseeing the practitioner development programme. The GO Lab is a  a jointly funded venture between the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford and the UK Cabinet Office. 

She continues to work with the Go Lab, co-leading the 'Future State' research programme.
